Fourteen people on Washington Avenue building websites, apps, brands, campaigns and AI systems for companies across Texas — and telling them the truth about what will and won't work.
Design Nux began in 2016 because two of us kept getting hired to fix the same problem: a business with a real offer and a website that undersold it.
The pattern was always the same. A local company would pay an agency for a site, then a second agency for marketing, then a freelancer for the logo — and end up with three vendors who never spoke to each other and a brand that read differently in every place a customer met it.
So we built the alternative: one team that can design it, build it, brand it, market it and now automate it — sitting in one room in Houston, accountable for the whole result rather than one slice of it. Fourteen people later, that is still the entire business model.

Our studio is on Washington Avenue, ten minutes from downtown. That matters more than it sounds: we can be at your office, your clinic or your yard the same afternoon, and most of our discovery happens in person.
About a third of our clients are outside Texas, and they get the same team — but Houston is where we live, hire and sponsor the odd little-league jersey.
Thirty minutes with the people who'd run your project — no account manager, no pitch deck. You'll leave with a plan whether you hire us or not.
